What does a mural cost?

The cost of murals varies depending on design and size of wall. On average, clients can expect to pay $3000 to $5000 for a standard sized wall (10 x 10 ft). However, every project is priced completely different. Just because a wall is small does not mean it will be less. If you’re interested in having a very large wall done, I can give a better price per sq ft.

How long does it take?

On average a mural can take 1 to 2 weeks depending on size and difficulty of the design. Some murals I’ve done in a day or two. It all just depends. Weather can also be a factor to the timeline for exterior murals.

What is the process if I want to move forward with getting a mural?

I will assess the wall you’d like me to paint on, whether it’s via pictures or seeing the wall in person. I then ask for a general theme or a direction that you’d like me to go in. I make every mural design myself and I provide the client with a mockup and pricing for approval before proceeding with the project. Once a design/budget is approved I require a 50% deposit to move forward with the scheduling of your mural.

What kind of materials do you use?

I mainly use spray paint and acrylic paint. For interior walls, I cover everything with a tarp and make a plastic tent around the wall so that no spray paints gets on anything inside.

What happens if I don’t like the mural?

I design everything upfront so that you and I know exactly what is going on. If by the end of the mural you are unhappy with it, I will gladly paint over it with white paint but no refunds will be issued. My time and materials are valuable, and I am very transparent throughout the entire process. I have never had an unhappy client by the end of a project. If you decide you don’t like a certain color or detail of the mural, I can always change it but there will be a fee. Please make sure you LOVE the design before I begin so that we can avoid this!
